Conference Organization and Subject

Atomically dispersed metal catalysts, or single-atom catalysts, are a class of materials that are intensely studied due to their potential for maximizing expensive metal utilization efficiency and for serving as tunable and selective catalysts. These materials are also an excellent test bed for pushing the boundaries of atomic scale precision in catalyst synthesis and characterization, and furthermore for understanding fundamental phenomena in catalytic science. ISSAC-3 will bring together experts from around the world to discuss fundamental and applied aspects of single atom catalysts. This symposium will be a satellite meeting to the International Congress on Catalysis in San Diego (June 14-19) and concurrently serve as the Pacific Coast Catalysis Society annual meeting.

Invited Speakers: The current list of invited speakers includes Tao Zhang (DICP); Charlie Sykes (Tufts); Franklin Tao (KU); Ning Yan (NUS); Notker Roesch (TUM); Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos (Tufts).
